Adopt a cheetah - or many of the other amazing animals at Safari West.

Open your parental paws and become a Safari West Wild Parent. Wouldn't it be wild to be "Mom" to our cheetah sisters or "Dad" to one of our graceful giraffes? Whatever the occasion, a wild animal is a rare gift. Anyone who's wild about animals can adopt one of ours for a year!

Why Adopt an Animal?
Safari West Wildlife Preserve is a world-class facility, providing the best possible care for our animals. These funds go directly to our non-profit Safari West Wildlife Foundation and will be used to support animal enrichment, wildlife conservation activities and educational programs for children and adults. All proceeds benefit our wildlife foundation and are tax-deductible contributions. Click here to download an adoption application.

Adopt An Animal Packages:

$50 Wildlife Club
In return for your annual adoption fee, you will receive a certificate of adoption with your name on it (and the species name of the animal you've adopted), nature notes and personal history.

$100 Safari Club
All the benefits included in the wildlife club package plus a 5" x 7" color photo of your special animal.

$200 Keepers’ Club
All the benefits included in the safari club package plus a surprise safari souvenir.

$500 Curator’s Club
Receive all the above plus an invitation to a "Behind the Scenes" after hour function. It’s a delightful evening for you and your loved ones to share with your special critter.

$1,000 Director’s Club
Receive all of the above, plus two complimentary safari adventures.

Who Can Be a Parent?
Any individual, organization, business, or club can adopt an animal. School classes are especially encouraged to become wild parents. Adopt an animal for yourself, your family, your team, club, employees, your friends! How about a porcupine for your parents? Or a lemur for your children!

Leave the Care to Us
Of course, your wild child remains the property of Safari West where it stays so the animal care staff is able to give it the best possible care. In some cases, you will be adopting a species and not a single animal. Also, it may take more than one parent to provide for the care of some animals.
