Experience the thrill of an exclusive and private behind the scenes cheetah encounter at Safari West. Our cheetah handlers will take you to visit Fast Cat Alley, an area of Safari West normally closed to all guests, except those taking this very special tour.
There you will meet our cheetahs up close and personal and see the Cheetah Keepers play soccer with the cheetahs. You get to be the referee by throwing the soccer ball into the field to get the game started!
Who will get the most goals? Our money is on the cheetahs! You get to take the winning soccer ball home, “signed” by our cheetahs of course!
When the game is done, chat with our professional animal handlers to learn what cheetahs like to eat, how they hunt, and their habits, behaviors, and history. You can also learn first hand from our keepers about cheetah conservation efforts and what you can do to help save this highly specialized and smallest of the big cats of Africa.
The
Fast Cat Alley – Cheetah Encounter at $200.00, maximum of two adults, lasts approximately 30 minutes and is an exciting encounter that you will never forget!
Due to the nature of this encounter, children are not allowed for safety reasons.
All animal encounters are based on availability and dependent upon animal behavior.
