African Queen Tour
(Minimum of 20 people)
Adults: $25; Children (ages 3 to 12) $18; Infants (1-2) $5
All tours are by advance reservation only.
Who might like to book an African Queen Tour:
- Youth organizations such as Boys or Girl Scouts or Preschool classes
- Senior groups and/or community organizations
- Any group or party of 20 or more guests
This is a 90-minute adventure led by one of our naturalists. Guests will board the African Queen, a 25-foot long trailer adapted with benches and a thatched grass roof for a journey through our savannah grasslands and breathtaking view of Watusi Lake, and then it’s time to explore on foot! The second half of the tour allows you to walk through our inner grounds, where you’ll encounter giraffe, primates, and birds in our open-air aviary!
This tour can accommodate groups up to 80 guests. Please also note that our tours are weather permitting, especially the African Queen safari trek. If we cannot do the driving portion of your safari, we will still try and do the walking portion and add other fun activities.
