One good reason to attend a block party, aside from being neighborly, is to get a close-up look at the strange, exotic family that lives at Safari West.

Safari West -- we're about as exotic as a neighbor can get with cheetahs, giraffes, lemurs, a whole aviary full of strange birds, and much more -- it's time for our extended block party for all of Napa/Sonoma County.

KIDS EXPLORE FREE ON THE AFRICAN QUEEN
Starting November 8th and on selected Sundays throughout November and December we will offer free admission for county kids younger than 13 and reduced prices for everybody else who lives in the neighborhood.

Cost: Adults $20; Children under 13 FREE (See maximum)
Two adults for every five children. Each additional child is $10.00.

What happens if it rains....Everybody is going to get wet!
Don't be afraid of getting wet, just come prepared. Bring your galoshes and join the fun. For 30 minutes you will plod through the mud, while viewing and hearing about a variety of birds and mammals great and small, some of which love the rain!

For another 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions, you will drive through the first part of our preserve enjoying a large number of different African mammals. You will also get a very close up look at our giraffes...from their gentle eyes to their 18-inch tongues! They're amazing and beautiful!
