Safari West founder Peter Lang receives the 2018 American Red Cross Animal Rescue Hero Award

As the Tubb’s Fire raged toward Safari West, Peter found he couldn’t leave his preserve undefended. Thanks to his fight to save nearly a thousand animals with little more a few garden hoses, the American Red Cross has chosen to honor Peter with their 2018 Animal Rescue Hero award.
