Join professional photographer John Burgess on a specially designed exploration of Safari West and its collection. On this exclusive photo safari, you’ll enjoy in-depth and behind the scenes access to the varied environs of the Safari West Wildlife Preserve. With John beside you every step of the way you’ll learn tips and techniques that allow you to capture the wild essence of the amazing animals of the Sonoma Serengeti.
Structure and Fees:
Single Day Photo Expedition (includes 4-5 Hour Safari Drive and Photo Instruction): $300 per person
Price includes Workshop and Gratuities. Lunch may be reserved for an additional price. Dinner is not available.
The photo safari expedition features either a morning or afternoon session. Both sessions explore the same environs but provide differences in terms of lighting and atmosphere. Be sure to select your preferred session when making your reservation.

About the Instructor:
John Burgess has been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. John has photographed over 300 assignments for Sports Illustrated, and his work has appeared in most major magazines. As a staff photographer at the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, John has photographed the animals at Safari West over the past 20 years.
