About the Speaker:

Originally from Southern California, Cecilia Ortiz moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue her love of the outdoors. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on sustainability and social justice. Environmental stewardship and protection have always been her passion. At the beginning of 2022, she took on the role of Program Manager at All One Ocean – a nonprofit that aims to educate our communities about the destructive impact of litter on our oceans and waterways and provide simple, sustainable, and effective ways to reduce our impact on the ocean environment.
