David Brown is a biologist, conservationist, and nature writer known for his extensive work with the iconic giraffe. As a member of the IUCN Giraffe and Okapi Specialist Group, David has long been on the cutting edge of giraffe science. David firmly believes in the importance of introducing young people to the world of conservation science. Alongside his field work, David writes about nature and conservation for kids of all ages.
The institute conducts field work, analyzes data, and synthesizes academic literature on a number of biological and ecological topics. David will be speaking on his particular area of expertise; the towering giraffe.
