Conservation Dinner Series: Jeff Kirschner of Litterati joins us in the elephant room after dinner to give a talk about litter. The conservation dinner series is complementary to all dinner guests. If you’d do not have a dinner reservation and would like to join, please book here. The conservation dinner series is sponsored by the Safari West Wildlife Foundation (SWWF).
When his 4-year old daughter saw a plastic tub of cat litter in the woods, little did Jeff Kirschner realize that it would be the spark for creating Litterati – a movement that’s “crowdsource-cleaning” the planet one piece of litter at a time. Featured by National Geographic, Rolling Stone, and Time Magazine, Jeff has shared his story at Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Facebook, and eBay, keynoted environmental summits at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Smithsonian, as well as leading universities including Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, and the University of Michigan. In January, Litterati was backed by the National Science Foundation. Jeff was also a resident at TED where he built Litterati into an “idea worth spreading.”
